This workshop is designed for reptile keepers who want to feel more prepared and confident when health concerns arise, recommended for beginner to intermediate reptile keepers.
Disclaimer: This is an educational workshop focused on preparedness, awareness, and prevention. It does not include diagnosing conditions or teaching medical treatments. Though medical treatments may be discussed this is not medical training nor should it replace the use of an exotic vet.

Workshop Outline:
We’ll cover common issues and illnesses keepers often encounter, what causes them, and how to recognize early warning signs before problems become emergencies. Since reptiles are experts at hiding illness, this workshop focuses heavily on awareness, observation, and prevention. We will also talk about the importance of knowing what to do in an emergency and how to ensure you are prepared for one if it pops up!
Topics include:
The difference between normal behavior and red flags
Early signs of illness and stress
Common husbandry-related issues and how they can develop
Quarantine protocols and why they matter
Cross-contamination risks between animals and species
Proper cleaning and disinfecting practices
